Third Watch Trivia - Last Episode

Leaving Camelot was the 132nd and final episode of the series of Third Watch. This series ended on May 6th 2005 and left many of its fans wanting for more. Initially Third Watch was supposed to run only for 2 seasons but due to great demand by the people and a lot of popularity, the show was extended for four more seasons. NBC was getting a lot of revenue from the show. It is not possible to draw a relevant parallel for Third Watch's run (beyond Lost which was only written to be one season long). Here is a Third Watch Trivia for the last episode.

The last and final episode of Third Watch was scripted in the middle of the sixth season. It was titled as "Leaving Camelot". After the show's sudden slip in popularity in the last season, it had lost its support from NBC. The story line that the writers were following was such that it could go on and on forever. But because there was no support for the show, it couldn't remain on the air for long. Any show will go down if it has no support from the network. The final episode of third watch was not really liked by many people. It was thought of as "Anti-climatic" and a "Rushed" job. There was not a lot of quality in the episode compared to the rest of the episodes in general.

When the show started and aired its first episode named ("Welcome to Camelot"), it was an instant success and every one could relate to the story and the characters that were portrayed in the show. The show gained twice the advertisements in the second episode then it had in the first episode. Sponsors like Pepsi, Toyota and Paramount Studios were some of the sponsors. In spite of the shows great success the writers really struggled to keep the show in track.

They could not really follow the theme from the main plot and they scrambled the characters. The show took some script directly from the other famous shows that were running at that time. Some of the storylines were directly taken from the show "Shield". First Watch wasn't a good show because of original plots; it was a great show because of amazing presentation.
