If you have watched the episode number 113 which was named "Last Will and Testament" then you will see the real idea of the show and the basic theme of the show. This episode contained a lot of drama and a lot of emotion. This episode is based on a very simple story in which there is a team of paramedics operated by Captain Finney. The way the drama flows, you feel like every character is interconnected with each other and the only thing separating these characters in a thin paper wall.
The episode start what a man consults with a spiritualist in hope that the spiritualist will help him to talk to his dead wife. When the oracle speaks as if she is speaking in behalf of his dead wife, he finds out that he is actually not able to breathe. The lead paramedic Carlos Nieto comes in and tries to save the breathless man. This makes Carlos very angry and he goes after the oracle. The oracle tries to curse Carlos but he doesn't believe in curses.
After this curse, the luck of Carlos drastically changed. It went from very good to very bad. It seemed like all the things are going wrong from him. Meanwhile Sully receives a call from china town where there is a threat of a gun fight. The police immediately respond to this possible threat and takes immediate action against this threat. Officer Ty Davis gets to drive the squad car on which he becomes extremely happy. When the police arrive on the scene they find out that there Is absolutely no gun fight, suddenly a motorcycle shows up and a submachine gun starts shooting at the people. The bride gets hit and gets injured. Police starts chasing the gunman and the paramedics arrive at the scene to save that dying bride. Ty Davis (happy to be driving the squad car) runs over Carlos.
This is the uniqueness of Third Watch Show which shows that how every character is linked to each other is some way or the other.
