Third Watch Series on DVD - Main Theme Story
Third Watch is one of the most real and fantastic drama serials of our generation. If you watch Third Watch Series on DVD you will see that it has portrayed some of the most extraordinary scenes coming from very ordinary characters. The Third Watch shows the environment of New York city where the cops, paramedics and firefighters work from 3 to 11 P.M. working very hard trying to cope with every situation and challenge in front of them. The cast of characters is composed of almost stereotypical blue-collar working men and women that try to gain the most life have to offer from each day. It's not easy to fully understand the true nature of every character that has been cast in Third Watch. If you think very hard, you will understand how things have resulted from one thing to another and you will be able to enjoy the show very nicely. Third Watch used to air with shows like ER and The Shield which were also very famous dramas. It's very similar to cousins in a sense that it has a gritty action/drama feel that takes the viewer from the subtle interpersonal drama of a couple arguing, to the towering action of a building aflame in a heartbeat of surprise. The audience is always at the edge of their seats while watching The Third Watch because there is a lot of drama and a high contrast of genres. There is a very fine line between the personal attitude and the professional attitude of a character in the drama. In one scene you will find a paramedic trying very desperately to save someone who has just had a heart attack and in the other scene you will see a firefighter trying to confront his darkest hours from the past. The exciting contrast of elements in Third Watch pulls the human condition to the surface and exposes it to the light of truth. The soundtrack of Third Watch is just magnificent. The music that is used in Third Watch is something everyone will like to listen to. You will find a lot of pain and sorrow in the music but in the end there is this satisfying music that shows that for damnation there is redemption. Each character is stronger at the end of every episode, raising the stakes for the next adventure. If your DVD collection contains only 2 television shows they should be Third Watch and 24.
